Last night I had the pleasure of attending the world premiere of Toy Story 4 as a guest of Disney. Pinch me, I’m dreaming!
Living near Hollywood it can be easy to become jaded. I drive by Hollywood Blvd and the El Capitan theater so frequently. But there’s nothing quite like the energy and excitement of a movie premiere! I had so much fun!

For my outfit I put together a Buzz Lightyear Disneybound using a gorgeous dress from Rent the Runway! This dress was so comfortable and perfect for apple shaped babes. I’m wearing the XL, and it’s available for XS-XXL. I highly recommend this one!
I paired the green dress with purple accents including purple flats, a purple handbag, purple camisole, and a purple floral clip in my hair. I also had a white shawl in my bag to complete the look, but So Cal is experiencing a major heatwave right now so I never needed it!
After watching the movie we were led behind the theater to the carnival themed after party! There was SO much to do, I was floored! All kinds of carnival themed foods like churros and funnel cakes, tons of games to play, and entertainers and clowns walking around. There was even a live band and dancing!
I don’t get star stuck often but the highlight of my night was meeting Bonnie Hunt. She is one of my comedy idols and I was so nervous to go up to her, but she was very gracious. After our photo I thanked her and said she made my whole night, and she told me I made her night by asking! So we are best friends now. I’m best friends with Bonnie Hunt.
I also was thrilled to get a quick picture with Keegan Michael Key, who voices Ducky. Even before seeing the movie I knew Ducky and Bunny were going to be my favorite new characters because I absolutely love the comedy of Key and Peele. Plus I got a bonus Tony Hale photo bomb!
But the REAL celebrity moment was meeting this Fab 4!
As for the movie – you’ll have to wait until Thursday for my review! But I have a feeling everyone is going to LOVE it!
What an honor to attend the premiere and party for Toy Story 4. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this night! Thank you again to Disney for inviting me!
