During these troubling times, it’s nice to know Disney is looking out for us Annual Passholders!

While The Disneyland Resort is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Annual Passholders have been wondering how Disney will handle pass extensions and monthly payments. Today, Disneyland released some guidelines and instructions for Annual Passholders.

Instructions for Disneyland Annual Passholders During COVID-19

  • Paid in Full

If you paid for your Annual Passport in full, your expiration date will automatically be extended for the time the parks are closed. You do not need to take any further action.

If you are in a financial bind and need to request a partial refund instead of having your Passport expiration date extended, you can call Annual Passport Member Services at (714) 781-4567. Anticipate heavy call volume and a long wait time.

  • Monthly Payment Plan

If you are on the monthly payment plan, your monthly payments have already been halted as of April 5, 2020. Disney will also retroactively refund payments made between March 14 through April 4 (however, there is no information on when these payments can be expected, if you have not received it already).

Monthly payments will automatically resume once the parks reopen. There will be no expiration date extensions.

As an alternative, you can choose to “postpone” your monthly payments, which means your expiration date will be extended based on how long the parks were closed, similar to how paid-in-full Annual Passports are being treated. Monthly payments will resume once the parks reopen. To request this, you need to call Annual Passport Member Services at (714) 781-4567. Anticipate heavy call volume and a long wait time.

Additional Info

  • The Southern California Resident Ticket expiration dates will be extended once the parks reopen.
  • The special discounted Child Tickets from earlier this year will now expire on December 15, 2020.
  • For hotel-only reservations through June 30, 2020, you can reschedule your stay without penalty.
  • Disneyland After Dark: Villains Nite, planned for April 30, 2020, will be rescheduled. If you wish to request a refund, call (714) 781-4636 for assistance (expect long wait times).

I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say I cannot wait to get back to Disneyland. Until then, please stay safe, wash your hands, wear your masks, and follow CDC and local government guidelines. Take care!
