Happy April! Spring is here finally (well, for some parts of the country) and Easter is right around the corner. Are you ready? I’M NOT! This year we are having my husband’s entire family staying with us the week before Easter, including my two nieces who are both under three years old. And that’s no APRIL FOOLS joke.
O_O
But I’m so excited to put Easter baskets together for my nieces. They love the Disney movie FROZEN so I was decided to make DIY Frozen inspired Easter grass. If you have a Frozen fan in your life, consider making your own Frozen inspired Easter grass for their baskets! All you need is some construction paper and a paper shredder.
1. Put colored construction paper through shredder.
2. Collect paper shreds.
3. Put paper in basket and add a coordinating ribbon if you want.
Ta-Da!
And you can use colors to correspond to your favorite Disney character and movie, such as:
Red, Black, and Yellow for Mickey Mouse
Light Blue and Light Pink for Sleeping Beauty
Blue, Purple, and Green for Monster’s Inc
Yellow and Red for Belle (Beauty and the Beast)
And when Easter is over, you can just recycle the paper, unlike the yucky plastic grass you buy at the store.
I hope you love this easy Easter DIY! Thanks for reading!
