After 14 looooong years, The Parr family is back with a new INCREDIBLE adventure! I got to see an early screening of Incredibles 2 and it beyond exceeded my expectations. I’ll be writing more about the movie later this week, but I want to remind everyone the movie comes out on FRIDAY June 15 and you are going to want to see it RIGHT AWAY! “Incredibles 2” is a 2018 animated superhero film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It serves as a sequel to the 2004 film “The Incredibles” and is directed by Brad Bird, who also wrote and directed the original film.

The story picks up immediately after the events of the first film, where the Parr family, consisting of Bob (Mr. Incredible), Helen (Elastigirl), Violet, Dash, and baby Jack-Jack, are adjusting to life after superheroes have been legalized again. However, their newfound legality comes with challenges as they face public skepticism about the role of superheroes in society.

The central plot revolves around Helen Parr (Elastigirl) being recruited to lead a campaign to bring superheroes back into the spotlight while Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) takes on the role of stay-at-home dad to manage the family. Meanwhile, a new villain named Screenslaver emerges, threatening the peace and safety of the city.
