Last weekend we celebrated the last of our little group to get married. I’ve known Becca for nearly two years as a “Disneyland Bride” but she and her fiance had a long engagement to prepare for what will surely be an epic in-park wedding. On Saturday we surprised her with a Disneyland bachelorette send-off.
First our friend Katie very sneakily got Becca to block off the day and come to Downtown Disney. Once she arrived, Katie presented her with a sparkly veil and her first clue – yep, it was a scavenger hunt!
The clues led to all her friends. Katie made these cute passport books with the clues, and we each stamped the book when Becca found us.
As a fun surprise we decided to DisneyBound. Except I didn’t have time to put together a Disney outfit so I went as Hello Kitty, because I already had all of the elements. I was the first to be found and I presented Becca with her next clue, and we proceeded on like that until everyone was found.
(Awkward moment – one of our clue spots was at the Rose Court Garden and a wedding was happening – oops!)
The scavenger hunt ended at Trader Sams with drinks and presents.
We then posed for some pro photos thanks to Katie’s friend, William!
Before photos started I pretended I was one of the kittens who crashed our wedding in the RCG bushes.
The main event was lunch at ESPN Zone (Becca loves sports and is quite athletic). We had a private room, which was great for our “girl talk.”
Even the Duffys got in on the action.
