Our Disney’s California Adventure Engagement Session with The Roots

As I alluded to in yesterday’s post, we spent an hour running around Disney’s California Adventure with The Roots two days before our wedding.  The results were fantastic!  No one would ever know we were having the day from hell.

We started our session in the walkways around Grizzly River Run.  Normally we use this area as a traffic-free path to get to the pier, and I had never stopped to notice the beauty of this spot.

Then we moved on to the Golden Vine Winery, per our request.  We love sitting on the patio with a glass of wine.

Next we moved over to the Bountiful Farms area, where the light stemming from the setting sun was just gorgeous.

Then we headed over to the pier because I wanted a few shots with Mickey’s Fun Wheel in the background.

This Cast Member came over to our photographers and I thought we were busted (technically professional photos inside the parks is a no-no).  I found out when we got the photos back that he had asked to photobomb us!  heehee

As we headed back towards the exit of the park, we stopped to take a couple pictures with the colorful row houses in the background.

And no DCA photo shoot would be complete without stopping by the signs in the Animation Building.

(Can you tell I was a cheerleader for one year?  I can still hear the demands … “POINT YOUR TOES! STRAIGHTEN YOUR ELBOWS!”)

We are super duper happy with our park photos and we couldn’t be more grateful to The Roots for them and also for putting us in a good mood for the rest of the day!

What do you think of our DCA engagement pictures?
