Did you know The Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland, California, has a few “signature suites?” These special suites are located on the top floor of the Adventure Tower and each one has its own Disney-related theme.
On May 19, 2017 we celebrated our five year wedding anniversary and one of my biggest Disneyland dreams came true … we stayed in the Fairy Tale Suite at The Disneyland Hotel!
Five years ago we priced the Fairy Tale Suite for the evening of our wedding and decided against spending our limited budget on such an extravagant room. Instead we stayed in a regular one-bedroom suite that had plenty of room for our family and friends to hang out, which was wonderful.
BUT!
In the back of my mind I knew I wanted to stay in the Fairy Tale Suite someday! I mean, it matches my branding so I kind of HAVE to stay there, right? So I thought our five year anniversary, a milestone anniversary, would be the perfect opportunity and luckily Tim agreed with my plan!
I had seen so many pictures of wedding couples in the Fairy Tale Suite and it looked so utterly romantic, with soft blue and white detailing everywhere.

I was a little worried, since in general anything unknown gives me anxiety, but luckily the room is still absolutely gorgeous.

Below are pictures I took of the room.
The Fairy Tale Suite is studio hotel room, and most of the space is occupied by the king bed, with its royal purple canopy. The room feels very regal and special!
I loved laying on this chaise lounge and watching people walk through Downtown Disney.
The enormous bathroom was relatively spared from the “refresh.” As far as I can tell the only thing different was the purple velvet vanity chair. I loved doing my makeup here in the morning, and declared that my next home MUST include a vanity in the bathroom!
This was one of the best showers of my life, but beware the steam setting …. it’s no joke.
The views are amazing. You can see the Disneyland fireworks at night, and play the show music through the TV (which pops up out of the dresser by the window!)
And yes, I took a bath in that amazing jacuzzi tub!
Here is a video tour I took of room:
Have you been lucky enough to stay in the Fairy Tale Suite before?
