Last weekend, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings held their annual Disneyland weddings showcase at The Disneyland Hotel. This is the first showcase I’ve been able to attend due to scheduling issues, so it was exciting to finally see all the pretty for myself!
Disneyland always knows how to throw a party, and this showcase was no different. Not only did Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings show off their gorgeous venues, but guests were also able to sample food and drinks, mingle with Disney’s preferred vendors, and participate in fun photo ops.
This year’s showcase took place in the Grand Ballroom at The Disneyland Hotel. This is the largest event space at the hotel, and can accommodate up to 1000 guests.

On the second level of the Fantasy Tower is where you’ll find the romantic Sleeping Beauty Pavilion, an reception space that can accommodate between 60-120 guests. I loved the black and pink velvet decor here!
The Sleeping Beauty Pavilion also highlighted a lounge area and a champagne wall. Love both of these options!
Across the hall is the Magic Kingdom Ballroom, which can accommodate between 120-1000 guests at it’s full size! The reception tables here featured various chair and linen options, and were themed with Disneyland attraction table names.
At various points in the showcase, attendees could take a guided through through available venues at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel.
Brisa Courtyard – Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel
Sequoia Ballroom – the largest room at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel
Wisteria Ballroom – a great small ballroom for receptions or even a wedding ceremony at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel
Wedding Garden – Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel

Okay, I know why you’re really here … for the food! There were lots of yummy food samples available, including two popular cake flavors!
Risotto Parmesan prepared in a cheese wheel!
Impossible meatless meatballs with marinara sauce
Filet mignon carving station with rolls
Dole Whip cake and Churro cake (churro is my personal favorite cake flavor!)
I also had a ball playing around with the Magic Mirror photobooth by OC Pixie, and the 360 degree video from SelfieXMedia. Both are preferred vendors with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings!
The Showcase also had a little store set up, where you could purchase Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings merchandise exclusive to the event. These items will be for sale at the Walt Disney World weddings showcase, too!
I also learned all about a new line of jewelry being released through Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings! These rings will be available in Spring 2020 at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. They feature hidden Mickeys and other fairy tale elements on the band. I’m obsessed with these!
I had a great time at the Showcase and highly recommend it for any couples who are interested in getting married at Disneyland.
