If you’re a budget bride like me, then chances are you weren’t able to order a fancy-schmancy wedding album along with your wedding photography package.  So imagine how stoked I was when I recently partnered with Blurb as an affiliate and had the opportunity to make a sample book.  So of course I used our wedding photos!

Blurb books are perfect for weddings because there are SO many options, and you can add (almost) endless pages – so you can make a huge ginormous wedding album for yourself, and also easily make smaller “look books” for your parents and grandparents! You could even scan your invitation, wedding cards with special notes written inside, your marriage license, or anything else to create a keepsake portfolio! The options are endless! Plus, with  Blurb, you can now create a photo book by uploading your Instagram and Facebook images, so you can easily include all those guest photos.

I decided to take some screen captures of my  Blurb book creating process so you can see how easy it is.

First of all, I used Bookify to create my book.   Blurb has a couple different options but I found Bookify was the easiest.

With Bookify you pick your book size and style, and then you upload your photos.  The book is laid out page by page on the screen.

One of the really cool things is there are several photo layout options per page.  And once your pictures are on the page, you can “shuffle” through the different layouts, as you see below.

It’s also super easy to add text, swap out photos, or even move entire pages, until your album is just perfect.

When you’re ready, you can preview the book as if you are holding it in your hands.

About a week after I ordered it, my book arrived!

I paid a little extra for the Lustre finish paper so the pages would have a bit of a shine.

The colors came out rich and vibrant.  Basically I’m super happy with my  Blurb book and I can’t wait to make a full wedding album (or several albums) with them!

AND, BONUS! Right now, during the month of September, you can get 15% off your Blurb books with the promo code CREATEABOOK!  Don’t let your pictures sit around. Check out  Blurb and see how easy it is to create a photo book that you can cherish for a lifetime.
