I figured the best place to start my 2011 Christmas recap would be with our first Engagversary!

(Warning: SUPER PICTURE HEAVY)

The Christmas season started at Disneyland (as it should) with our Engageversary.  Tim proposed in 2010 on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, so celebrating this anniversary proved to be a great way to kick of the holiday season.  We went to Disneyland on the Sunday after Thanksgiving again this year and tried to recreate our engagement day as much as we could.  We rode a few of the same rides (It’s a Small World Holiday, Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters) and ate dinner at the same place (Golden Horseshoe chili cheese fries, yuuummmm) as we did one year prior.  Then we watched the fireworks and enjoyed the fake snow, only this year I really did get to enjoy it, since last year I was sobbing through the whole thing (okay, I cried again this year, and every year during the snow, OKAY YOU GOT ME).

Is there a vision more beautiful than Sleeping Beauty’s Castle during Xmas?  I think not.

Reindeer butts, lolz

We tried to time it so we would be waiting in line when the exterior lights came on, but the line moved way too fast!  So we hung out until the lights came on.  It’s quite an amazing sight, if you haven’t seen it (and if you haven’t seen it, why don’t you watch the video below and then you can say you’ve seen it?)  ^_^

I have never been able to get a decent picture of Stitch … he’s too jumpy!

We definitely had a magical day and I love this new holiday tradition we now have to look forward to every Thanksgiving!
