Forever known as the “hurricane” year!
It was an exciting time for CHOC Walk, which was returning for the first time since 2019! Unfortunately it was marred by a weather event – major rain and wind forecasted for the area. And, unfortunately, I was sick. So I ended up staying home and not participating in the CHOC Walk for its grand return. I was so sad to miss out! However, some members of my amazing team braved the rain and provided me with some photos from the day.
CHOC Walk in the Park is a 5k charity walk through the Disneyland Resort before the parks open to the public, benefiting Children’s Hospital of Orange County. It really is such a special event I’m proud to participate in every year. If you haven’t done a CHOC Walk yet, I highly recommend going to chocwalk.org and signing up!
Despite the early morning call time, it’s so fun to walk around Disneyland and Disney California Adventure before it opens to guests. Plus there are surprises around every corner! Favorite characters were out and about, including Alice and Mad Hatter, and Chip and Dale.
