The Anaheim Marriott by the Anaheim Convention Center is located at 700 West Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802, just a block south of Disneyland Resort. It is roughly a 20 minute walk to the entrance of Disneyland, or a 15 minute walk to the entrance of Downtown Disney District.

The multi-story Anaheim Marriott hotel with balconies, surrounded by palm trees and greenery, with a visible driveway and entrance canopy.

The Anaheim Marriot is my favorite hotel in the Anaheim Convention Center area. For visiting Disneyland, there are much closer options but the reasonable prices and amenities of Anaheim Marriott may be worth it to you despite the longer walk or ride share drive.

Hotel Grounds

Anaheim Marriott is located in a dense area, and the building takes up most of the property footprint. It has a grand entrance where you can unload your luggage with bell services before you self park, or drop off your car for valet.

Exterior view of the Marriott Anaheim hotel, showing a modern building with balconies and palm trees, along with the hotel's name on a stone sign in the foreground.

The spacious lobby is meant for convention guests, with its ample lounge and relaxation areas. While the grounds seem small, the space is well used. The decor is modern and simple, with interesting art pieces in earth tones and lots of greenery.

The first floor restaurant, nFuse, has indoor and outdoor seating in their lounge, with the outdoor tables overlooking the pool area.

Rooms

Rooms were recently remodeled in 2019 and feel spacious and clean, with dark wood furniture and plain cream-colored walls. I’ve never had an issue with my room at Anaheim Marriott, it has always been clean, quiet, and functional. Plenty of outlets and USB ports and counterspace in the bathroom.

A hotel room with two queen beds, a desk with a chair, a TV, a window with curtains, and a scenic view outside.
A wooden hotel desk with a chair is in front of a wall-mounted TV. On the desk are water bottles, a remote, folded paper, and a cup. The reflection of a person is visible on the TV screen.

Desk with a telephone, AC power outlets, USB charging ports, and a digital clock.

My one complaint is the bathroom could be a bit bigger, or a split bathroom would be convenient.

Bathroom with a toilet, a wide mirror, a sink with a countertop, white towels on a shelf below, and a tissue box on the counter. The background shows a glimpse of a shower curtain.

A bathroom with a bathtub, a white shower curtain, and a wall-mounted showerhead. A toilet is positioned nearby with a small black trash bin beside it. The floor is covered in light wood laminate.

I really enjoy the exterior balcony rooms; some of them look out into the city or the convention center grounds. Interior balcony rooms look into the pool area and have a bit of a fishbowl effect so I prefer the city views.

The rooms include most standard hotel amenities including:

  • Flatscreen TV
  • Paid Wi-Fi (Free for Bonvoy members)
  • Mini Fridge
  • Microwave
  • Coffee Maker (Keurig)
  • Iron & Ironing Board
  • Hairdryer
  • Toiletries

Suites

Anaheim Marriott offers Studio Suites, which includes a standard King bed plus a sofa bed within 650 square feet of living space.

Pools and Amenities

The property has an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool, open from 6am to 10pm.

Glass doors leading to a fitness center with exercise equipment visible inside. A sign on the wall to the right reads "Fitness Center.

Dining

nFuse Restaurant, Bar, & Lounge

Signature restaurant with a generous lounge area, located on the first floor just off the lobby. Indoor and outdoor seating is available for the lounge. The restaurant area serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The Market Cafe

The spot to grab a quick breakfast, coffee, or snack. Open until 3pm.

A retail store aisle with shelves stocked with various beverages and snacks. A person is working near the back.

Slice Pizzeria

Offering whole pizzas or by-the-slice. Great for taking back to the room for an easy dinner!

Parking

Self-Parking and Valet are both offered, for a daily fee, for overnight guests. There are also EV charging stations available.

Summary

The Anaheim Marriott is one of the best hotels in the Disneyland Resort area, and certainly a great choice for anyone visiting the Anaheim Convention Center. The property has comfortable guest rooms and all the amenities one could want for a short or long stay.
