Recently the official Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons website underwent a major renovation, and the results are really exciting! Their site is much more comprehensive, and planning brides and grooms will be happy to know the basic information needed for planning and designing a Disney wedding is now more readily available with a few mouse clicks.
The first step in designing your Dream Wedding is to select your location. For this example we picked Florida.
Step 2: Pick your package. You may select Memories, Escape, or Wishes.
Step 3: Here you enter basic details – names, guest count, estimated date.
Step 4: Choose your ceremony venue. Your options are Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, Canada Terrace at Epcot, Sea Breeze Point at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, Wedding Gazebo at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Sunrise Terrace at Disney Wilderness Lodge.
Step 5: Select your bouquet style.
Step 6: Photography. Escape packages come with basic photography, and on this page you can add enhancements and upgrade, including albums and video.
Step 7: Music! Escape packages include a solo musician, but you can add more, including trumpeters, for a fee.
Also included on the Musical Entertainment page (for some reason) are character selections. The characters listed are: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, and Pluto.
Step 8: CAKE! You can pick your basic cake design and select some enhancement. And in case you were wondering, they are still trying to push that weird Cinderella stair design.
Step 9: Transportation. A limo is included but you can upgrade to Cinderella’s Coach or a classic car.
Step 10: Here you will get a summary of your selections. Note that any enhancement selections will be added to your estimated price, which is fantastic! This feature is going to really help couples get a grasp on what they realistically can afford before even speaking with a planner.
