When Randy and I made the decision to get married there was really no question as to where we should get married (even though we tried to pretend there were other options), just when and how were we going to pay for it. We settled on the Escape package because it was better for our price range and offered the intimate wedding we wanted. We set the date for April 15th, 2013. Overall I am so glad we picked Disneyland for the beginning of our happily ever after. There were a few bumps in the road, like our original venue (Adventure Lawn Gazebo) being reseeded and our planner having no idea about it. Disney did go out of their way to find us a better opinion. They ended up offering us the Blue Skye Suite, which to my knowledge is used for business meetings, and it turned out to be a beautiful location. Every one of our vendors and our planners worked so hard to make our day magical. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
Jenna from White Rabbit Photo Boutique was so amazing to work with and was more than just a photographer. She helped relay messages to our planner when things got messy, like running late due to the venue change. She also heroically sacrificed a piece from the necklace she was wearing to save my maid of honor’s necklace that broke while we were getting ready.
Katie Vollmer from Beauty and the Beach was also amazing to work with, She was so understanding when things ran behind due to the venue issue, and I loved my wedding day makeup.
