There’s so much to look forward to at The Disneyland Resort in 2020! 2019 was such an exciting year with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening, but 2020 has it’s own surprises in store, and I can’t wait to experience every single one of them!

What’s New at Disneyland in 2020
Rise of the Resistance
This much anticipated attraction will finally open at Disneyland on January 17, 2020! We anticipate Disneyland using their virtual boarding system to access the attraction, so anticipate needing to arrive at the Park early if you want a chance to ride. I’ll be there on opening day to see how it all goes!
Lunar New Year Celebration
The Lunar New Year Celebration at Disney’s California Adventure will run from January 17 through February 9. This is one of my favorite festivals of the year! Plus, it’s the Year of the Mouse so you know it will be a special celebration! For more on the Lunar New Year Celebration, check out this article.
Magic Happens Parade
We have a NEW parade coming to Disneyland Park! Magic Happens is the new parade name, and it debuts on February 28, 2020! The new floats look great and the music is STRONG, so I can’t wait to see this full parade!
Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival
The foodie celebration returns to Disney California Adventure February 28 through April 21! Click here to read about this wonderful festival.
Tenaya Stone Spa
If you’re a guest at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel later in 2020, you may be happy to learn the spa is reopening in Spring 2020! The Tenaya Stone Spa promises head-to-toe pampering with body treatments, facials, massages, and salon services.
Avengers assemble! The Avengers Campus is almost ready! The new land at Disney California Adventure will be opening sometime in the summer of 2020.
Other Disneyland Resort News for 2020
As of January 5, 2020, Alfresco Tasting Terrace at Disney California Adventure is now an AP only location, with exclusive cocktails and food options.
Hyperspace Mountain will “close” January 6, 2020, with regular Space Mountain returning on January 8, 2020.
Snow White’s Scary Adventures will close January 7, 2020 for an extensive refurbishment, reopening sometime later in the year.
Asian Street Eats opened in Downtown Disney early 2020 and is serving fresh Asian cuisine with a street truck twist. (The semi-permanent location in front of Rainforest Cafe resembles a food truck.)
Disneyland’s 65th anniversary is on July 17, 2020!
Oogie Boogie Bash is returning to Disney California Adventure for Halloweentime again in 2020! Exact dates have not been announced.
