Mickey Confetti for Your Holiday Cards

Looking for a fun and easy way to spread some Disney love this holiday season? How about sending some celebratory Mickey confetti with your holiday cards? Maybe it’s just me, but I LOVE when I open up a card or package and confetti falls out! It puts a huge smile on my face and automatically enhances whatever fun surprise I’m opening.

Truth be told, my husband is not as big of a Disney fan as I am (I know, shameful), so I came up with this idea as my way of spreading a little Disney cheer to my friends and family who will “get it.” If you get a Christmas card from me and some shiny Mickey silhouettes spill out, consider yourself one of the elite!

This project is so simple, if you have all the right supplies. I used:

  • A tiny Mickey head punch (found on Ebay)
  • Red and green double-sided scrapbook paper
  • Gold and silver double-sided foil paper
  • Standard hole punch
  • Holiday cards

Use the Mickey punch to punch out two or three shapes from each color paper. Repeat using the standard hole punch.

Place the punched out shapes into your envelope. (Pro tip: It helps if you address the envelope first so the confetti bumps won’t mess up your pretty handwriting!) Place the card into the envelope. That’s it!

You’re now all set to mail out some Disney cheer!
