Earlier in the week we spoke about the subtlety of Disney in Chelsea’s bridal shower.
Today we have something very different: A full on, all out, Mickey baby shower!
Christie and John, who got married last year at the Disneyland Resort in California, are welcoming their first little boy … so a Mickey shower was the perfect theme!
It looks like their friends and family came together to throw these lifelong Disney fans the ultimate Mickey Mouse celebration. I love it all so much! Let’s take a look at some of the Disney details.

Outfits
The proud parents-to-be wore matching “Daddy To Be” and “Mommy To Be” custom shirts with Disney-inspired font. Christie rocked her classic Minnie Mouse ears headband and kept the color theme going with black converse and a red sweater.
Decor
The simple DIY centerpieces are Mickey Mouse shapes made from Styrofoam and black paint, and print-outs of shorts, gloves, and shoes glued to dowels.
Walls were decorated with a simple paper chain made with red, yellow, and black construction paper. And it’s not a Mickey Mouse party unless you have a Mickey giant balloon, welcoming guests at the food table!
Food
Chocolate cupcakes with alternating red and yellow frosting and a paper Mickey Mouse topper were the superstar of the food table. Too cute to eat! (Almost!)
But I think the highlight of the entire shower are some of those cute Disney gifts, including a huge gift basket with MICKEY EARS!!!!!
I love that everyone in this family seems to fully embrace their Disney Side. What a fun group!
