I’m excited because I think this is my first “sibling session” I’ve shared on the blog! My friend Mandi and her sisters planned a Frozen DisneyBound photo shoot, which is the perfect inspiration for sisters! Their outfits look wonderful and the accessories are so clever. I really would love to feature more sessions like this in the future!
From Lisa, the photographer: “I first met Mandi a couple of years ago when she requested a boudoir session to gift her husband on their wedding day. I just loved her! We remained in contact after she moved to another state. When she contacted me to do this session, I was thrilled to hear she would be in town! I knew what a huge fan of Disney she is, so when she told me her attire was going to be Frozen themed, I was so excited to see what she’d come up with! Even better, she decided to include two of her sisters. A sibling session! It doesn’t get any better!”
From Mandi: “I teach first grade and sell Younique products. Olivia goes to NMSU and majors in Physical Education. Alyssa is a sophomore in high school and is in the color guard. Olivia and Alyssa live in El Paso, Tx and I’m now in Arizona.
“Last time my sisters and I took pictures it was a nightmare trying to decide what to wear so we decided to DisneyBound. We picked Frozen because of the sisters. We were originally going to be Dory and Nemo but neither one of us wanted to wear orange. I am the oldest so I was Elsa. Olivia is next so she was Anna. We thought Alyssa had school that day so we brought her along last minute. We wanted to keep DisneyBounding so we made her be Olaf. She was kind of annoyed at first but we told her she could either be Olaf or Sven!
“We looked on Pinterest to find ideas for the colors scheme. Olivia got her entire outfit at Ross for $16. My top is from Ann Taylor and my pants were from Agaci. My sweater was from Amazon but I would not recommend it because it was super wrinkly and hard to iron. Alyssa’s outfit we found in the back of her closet. All our accessories were from Charming Charlie and I did the makeup using my Younique stuff.
“I enjoyed working with Lisa when she took my boudoir pictures so I knew I wanted her to take my pictures again. We love the way these turned out!”
