We teased it back in June, and now more information has been released about the Elsa inspired wedding gown from Alfred Angelo, as part of the Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings collection. A sketch and some creative details were shared on InStyle.com earlier this week.

“We wanted to translate Elsa’s inner beauty and individuality into a sophisticated gown that exudes this,” says Alfred Angelo’s Chief Creative Officer Michele Piccione. Piccione and Alfred Angelo teamed with Disney Consumer Products to make sure the gown would be fitting for a queen of Elsa’s stature.

The gown will be made with satin and tulle, will feature a sweetheart neckline and a Watteau train which will drape from the shoulders to the floor, just like Elsa’s blue dress in Frozen. Also like Elsa’s dress, this wedding gown will adorned with beading and glitter, so it shimmers and shines with every step. The sketch makes it looks like the beading is falling like snow … very pretty, not to mention appropriate. The dress will be available in both “ice blue” and ivory starting January 2015.

But where’s the love for Anna? Anna is also supposed to have her very own bridal gown at Alfred Angelo as well, but no official word on the design for that one. For now, you can check out this post where I make my predictions on what the Anna and Elsa gowns will look like.

Last year we got a sneak peek at the new DFTW Alfred Angelo collection at New York Bridal Market in October, so if we’re lucky maybe we’ll have a closer look at some of the new designs as early as next month!

Do you like the sketch of the new Elsa gown? Who wants to go try on some wedding gowns for funsies?
