It’s embarrassing to admit, but I’m addicted to my iPhone. I blame it on my job (hey – people expect me to post pictures from Disneyland on Instagram!) but the truth is I simply don’t want to miss anything. And aside from the social media aspect, I use my phone to take photos, check attraction wait times, and play games while waiting in queues. Oh, and now with Periscope … forget it. My phone battery is drained within a couple hours of being at the Parks.
I’ve used external battery packs to charge my phone when I’m at conferences or at a wedding, but for Disneyland I need something with some serious charging power and that’s why I love my MyCharge backup battery. When fully charged, I get at least two full phone charges out of it. And it has two USB ports, so my husband or friends can charge their devices at the same time. The four little indicator lights show how much power it has left. And, for the amount of power it provides it’s very light, not even half a pound. It’s very easy to carry it around in my purse or backpack.
We also took the MyCharge on our road trip up the California coast, and it came in very handy on pool days. I could listen to podcasts all afternoon and not worry about needing to go back to the hotel room to charge my phone before dinner.
Going to D23 Expo? Two years ago, I remember ducking back to my hotel room every day for a recharge session. There may probably be charging stations somewhere on the floor, but that means you have to stand there and babysit your phone while it powers up. I highly recommend getting a MyCharge battery pack you can carry around with you! Mine is going to come in really handy this year.
With everything we do on our phones now, it’s almost a necessity to carry around an external battery pack. I’m so glad I discovered MyCharge. Thanks to MyCharge for partnering with me!
