My first visit to Walt Disney World in May for Disney Social Media Moms Celebration provided a fun new experience for me … MAGIC BANDS! Yes, I’m totally on board with Magic Bands and think they are brilliant and convenient. But you know me … I can’t simply wear plain Magic Bands. So I jazzed them up a little bit using some simple supplies I found at my local craft store.
I had two different hotel stays, so I received two Magic Bands. The first one was pink, my favorite color! I decided to decorate my pink Magic Band to match my nails, which were pink with white polka dots – an homage to Minnie Mouse! This was pretty easy to do using a white medium-point paint-based Sharpie.
My second Magic Band was orange. I chose pink and orange since those were our wedding colors! I found these really cool silver star temporary tattoos and they reminded me of Peter Pan … “The second star to the right ….” Look for temporary tattoos in the t-shirt/handbag/hair accessories aisle of your local craft store or check Amazon. You can even use Disney temporary tattoos, just make sure the design will fit on your Magic Band before you order!
So, there you go. Sharpies and temporary tattoos are two easy and affordable ways to decorate your Magic Bands!
