Hello, and happy Friday! A lot of people think Friday is the best day of the week, but I disagree … I think SATURDAY is the best day of the week, because you don’t have to wake up early and go to work, right? Unless you’re me because I work every day of the week. But what does that have to do with this post? Nothing.
Today I am going to be talking about something super wild, totes cray-cray that happened to me. Within the span of just a couple days, I found myself signed up to attend not one, but TWO blogging conferences for free! I’m so excited! Here’s how it went down.
For a few months I have been a member of the new blogger network Entertainment New Media Network. It’s a network for entertainment bloggers to be matched up with ad campaigns. (I actually just got approved for my first campaign, woohoo!) Back in 2013 they announced their first conference, right near my favorite place – Disneyland! I really wanted to go but I had blown my entire conference budget (and then some) on Alt Summit. So when they put a call out for volunteers, I applied … and was selected! YES! So I don’t *technically* get to attend all of the conference since I’ll be working, but I’m sure I’ll catch a few things here and there. And conferences are best for networking and I’m sure to meet a lot of amazing people! There’s a great line up of speakers, including amazing women I consider “Twitter friends” (although they would probably be creeped out if they heard me say that): Marcy Massura, Cam Bowman, Lisa Robertson to name a few. There will also be a presentation by Share A Sale, who manages the majority of my affiliate ads and I really love working with them.
The conference runs from February 14-16 and there are still tickets left if you want to join me! There are several different options:
Blogger Full Registration – $199
Blogger Limited Registration – $50
Blogger Travel Training (Saturday only) – $50
Live Streaming Conference Pass – $75
You can go to http://enmnetwork.com/conference/ to see details on all the different options. I would love to see you there!
Then a couple days after I received my volunteer email for ENMN Con, I participated in a Twitter party for the Lifestyle Blogger Conference … and I won their grand prize, which was a conference pass! So I’m going to the Lifestyle Bloggers Conference in Downtown LA on March 27-29! This conference is put on by the Latina Lifestyle Bloggers and So Cal Lady Bloggers. I fall under one of those categories, so I’m excited to see what I can learn from this conference. Sessions include a lawyer speaking on contract verbiage, and maximizing SEO. Tickets for the Lifestyle Blogger Conference are still available for $179.99 until February 10 and then the price jumps up to $350! So if you want to go, don’t delay!
So that’s how I managed to score entry into two blogging conferences for free in 2014. Which means I’ll be going to three blog conferences during the first three months of the year, which is slightly insane, or completely awesome. Hopefully my lil brain can handle all that knowledge stuffed into it, and I will emerge an amazing, super blogger! Hehe.
