Hello! Welcome to my Blogging and Income Report for November 2018! Sorry this is being posted so late; as you can imagine, December gets kind of crazy around here. But also, my November wasn’t very good and I’ve been putting this off for as long as possible. Not to be too gloomy, but I’m kind of ready for 2018 to end and starting fresh in 2019!
Also, right at the top, I want to mention that the cart is open for my STEP UP YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA 2019 course! Join me for two weeks in January as we dive into all things social media and set some goals for the year!
Blogging and Income Report – November 2018
November was all about that holiday hustle! I refreshed and re-posted a few holiday gift guides and DIY articles, which is a heckuva lot easier than creating new ones from scratch. I also spent a bit of time working on my Amazon T-shirt designs before the holiday shopping crush. I have 500 available product spots and got pretty close to filling all of them!
My numbers for November fell a bit, which is to be expected. My Halloween posts always do well in October, plus visits tend to slow down a bit around Thanksgiving.
My top referral sources for November: Google, Pinterest, Direct traffic, Facebook, and Bing.
Other November Happenings
In early November I went to a conference for wedding professionals to promote the podcast I co-host, Rock Your Wedding Biz! It was a lot of fun.
Here’s what I earned in November 2018. I list the earnings by network, and then state the specific brands/shops in parenthesis. If I didn’t make any money through a specific affiliate channel, I will leave it off the list.
(Keep in mind I’m only sharing the revenue I generate through my websites and social media accounts.)

Total revenue for November 2018 = $894.33
– Total revenue the previous month = $1262.79
– Difference: -$368.46
My big boost from the month before was pretty much wiped out, and I earned about the same as I did in September. Black Friday was a bit of a bust for me as far as affiliate revenue goes, so I need to re-think how much time I want to spend on promoting sales that weekend in the future.
Things I need to work on:
I’m taking a couple weeks off for Christmas and New Years and I’m really looking forward to the break. I’m sure I’ll be sneaking some work in here and there (and doing some major work on my course, STEP UP YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA 2019, cart is open now!) but I’m hoping for some rest and relaxation too.
