We have another really beautiful at-home Disney wedding to share with you!  I just love seeing Disney touches in weddings, and I love when couples express their personalities and highlight the things that are important to them and make them happy.  Becky and Jason’s wedding is no exception!  They had a fairy tale wedding with an underlying Disney theme.  And I love all their DIY.  Check out the “Cinderella Shoe Pillow” ring bearer pillows, the program scrolls, the guest book make through Mixbook (affiliate link), the aisle runner, the storybook seating cards, and of course all of the beautiful and creative centerpieces!  Peep those table names made to look like bookmarks.  BRILLIANT!

From the bride: “Jason and I met in college, when we were in a play together.  We sat next to each other in one scene and started chatting during rehearsals, and really hit it off!  We were engaged on a cruise in May 2010 and got married on September 3, 2011.  I always knew that I wanted to go to Walt Disney World for our honeymoon, but was unsure about a Disney wedding.  In the end we decided to have it at home for a few reasons.  We saved a lot of money that way and could invite more people that we really wanted to be there – we ended up with about 85 guests for a $10,000 budget.  We also had some elderly relatives that are unable to travel very far and couldn’t imagine our day without them.  I’ve never regretted having an at-home wedding because it was everything I could have ever wanted.  We just brought some fairy tale magic to Long Island!  It was a general fairy tale theme, and we added that into all of the little details.  My favorite part to plan was the centerpieces.  Each table was themed after a different fairy tale, and I created unique centerpieces for each table.  The base was two empty book boxes, with items related to each fairy tale on top. It took a lot of hunting around to find things that would work for each fairy tale, but I had a ton of fun doing it!

“And the day after the wedding we got to have plenty of Disney magic when we headed there for our honeymoon!  :)”
