I’m so excited because today I’m featuring my first Paradise Pier Hotel reception! Paradise Pier Hotel is such a lovely and fun hotel at The Disneyland Resort, and the tropical motif was a great match for Carolyn and Trini’s organic, beachy wedding theme. First of all, major shout out to those bridesmaid dresses. The palette of blues and greens pays tribute to the ocean and is just perfection. I love the mix of soft, romantic flowers and succulents in the bouquets and centerpieces. And let’s not overlook the Disney details – Dad’s DIY Mickey tie (made by the bride when she was a little girl, isn’t that amazing?!?), Mickey watches for the groomsmen, custom princess-themed necklaces for the bridesmaids, and do I spy a lightsaber and Darth Mickey helmet during the ceremony? The reception featured an Under the Sea cake complete with a pirate/mermaid topper, tables named after Disney songs spelled out with Scrabble tiles, RunDisney medals as photo booth props, and two very special guests. Last but not least, the famous Mariachi Divas, a mainstay at Disney California Adventure park, serenaded guests during the brunch reception. Seems like a perfect day. Contracts, Carolyn and Trini!
