We have another beautiful Disneyland Engagement session to share with you today!  Today’s post comes to you from Hope and Mike.  Hope is one of the first Disneyland brides I met online and she has helped me tremendously with my planning!  Hope and Mike’s engagement pictures and wedding pictures have been featured on the wonderful Disney Weddings Blog, but I am so very honored to be featuring some “never before seen” pics from their engagement session, shot by Nataly Lemus Photography.

From the bride:

We’re Hope and Mike. We met online by chance to talk about The Beatles and became friends right away. That friendship turned into romance and after nearly 2 years of a long distance relationship, Mike left his home on the east coast and moved to southern CA to be with me.

Disneyland has meant a lot to me growing up over the years. It was the backdrop for several special occasions for me and my family and it became a huge part our relationship once Mike moved to CA. Since it was so special to us, Mike knew that that was the best place to ask for my hand in marriage. He proposed at Disneyland on our 7th anniversary in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle following the “Believe in Holiday” fireworks show under “snowfall.” We really wanted to get married at Disneyland because it has so many special memories for us. We own Premium Annual Passports and are tremendous fans of all things Disney (movies, channel, collectibles, the parks, clothes, etc.) and have converted our previous Beatles obsession that sparked our mutual interest into full-out Disney mania. It was wonderful to incorporate our Disney love into our special day and it’s great to be able to visit where we got married many times throughout the year. There are so many things and places at Disneyland that mean a lot to us (like the spot where we got engaged and the spot where we shared our first dance) and we love being able to re-visit them whenever we go.

I used Heather P. from “Beauty and the Beach OC” for my hair and makeup that day. It was over 100 degrees on the day of our e-shoot and she managed to help me look “put together” despite the crazy heat.
