When I left off yesterday, we were just about to head into Disneyland to set up for Becca and Mike’s wedding!  We met up at the Adventureland Suite at the Disneyland Hotel, which Becca and Mike had booked for a couple nights.  It’s amazing!  My friend Hope took a few pictures of some of the many details in the two bedroom signature suite.

A representative with the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings team took us backstage into Disneyland on a golf cart.  It reminded me of running through backstage during the Disneyland Half Marathon, except it was parade time and it was really funny to see the characters in various states of undress!

At some point we had to cut through Main Street on our way to Adventureland.  Here’s a shot of me headed towards the Cast Member entrance next to the fire station. Aaaah, so cool!

Eventually we made our way to Aladdin’s Oasis, the ceremony location, and it was game on!  We all rushed to get things ready. As a team, I think we did pretty good.  The only problem was, I was a sweaty mess when it was time for the ceremony to start!

The ceremony was lovely, Becca and the bridesmaids looked beautiful, and Mike was very handsome in his maroon suit.

Once the ceremony was over, we were on clean up duty while the guests went to Pre-Reception.  We boxed everything up to take to the reception space in Disney’s California Adventure and then loaded up the golf carts.  Since the park was now closed, we didn’t have to sneak through backstage.  We were doing well with time so we stopped at the castle for a quick picture!  Who can possibly resist a photo op at an empty castle? If only my phone took better night pictures *grumble* …

We headed to DCA to the Animation Building for the reception.  We were freaking out for a few minutes because we got there way before the golf carts with the decorations! Finally they arrived and we rushed to put everything in place.  Everything looked really nice (if I do say so myself).

Becca and Mike are both tattoo aficionados, so it was totally appropriate for them to have these temporary tattoos!  I put mine on right away – so fun!

Also appropriate were our escort cards which were white chocolate name tags, since Mike is a CM and Becca is a former CM!  Love the personalized ribbon, too.  The maroon and teal looked great together.

The guests were let in, and by that point all I wanted was a drink, so I was first in line at the bar – haha.

The reception was so pretty and I loved the first dance and the toasts.  The food was a buffet (the only option for an in-park event), and it was delicious as always.  DJ Wendy was their wedding DJ and she did a fantastic job!  The dance floor was packed all night.  During the money dance I got a chance to dance with the bride and tell her she did a great job putting everything together.

So many Disneyland Brides!

It was way too soon when they were announcing the last dance.  We saw the bride and groom off in their golf cart and then we packed up everything and headed back to the hotel ourselves.  At 1 AM I sure was glad I was spending the night there at Disneyland and not driving home!

Thanks so much to Becca and Mike for having me as a guest at your amazing wedding!  I wish you too nothing but the best in life and I’m looking forward to many more Disneyland adventures ahead of us.
